What’s the Next Step?
We aren’t used to prioritizing ourselves, so taking the first step is often the hardest part. I promise to do my part in making it as easy as possible! Reach out if you’re ready to see if working together would be a good fit.
STEP 1 - Contact Me
You can reach me by email, phone, the contact form above, or by clicking on any of the “Book a Free Consultation” buttons throughout this website.
STEP 2 - Lookout For My Response
Once I receive your message, I will reach out to you within 2 business days…often sooner!
STEP 3 - Let’s Talk
The consultation is a brief, 15-minute conversation for us to decide if we’re the right fit for your goals. No pressure. No commitment.
I accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA/FSA cards. Please note that payment for services, including copays, coinsurance, and deductibles, are due at the start of each session.
Insurance & Self Pay
Insurance
Rooted NeuroWellness is in network with UnitedHealthcare and accepts out of network benefits for many other insurance plans. If you plan to use your insurance, we recommend contacting your insurance company before your first appointment to verify your mental health benefits, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and any authorization requirements.
If you have out of network benefits, we offer several options to make using these benefits easier than ever! Here are your options…
You pay the full session fee upfront, and Thrizer (our HIPPA compliant payment platform) submits the out-of-network claim for you. Any reimbursement goes right back to you.
If eligible, you pay an estimated upfront amount, and Thrizer advances the rest of the session fee to pay your therapist. They submit your claim to insurance and collect on their advancement when reimbursement is received.
You pay the full session fee upfront, and we will provide you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance plan for possible reimbursement if you choose.
Please note that reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and cannot be guaranteed.
Self Pay
Many clients choose to pay privately because it offers greater privacy, flexibility, and control over their treatment. Unlike insurance, self pay allows therapy to focus entirely on your goals without requiring a mental health diagnosis, medical necessity documentation, or limitations on the type or length of treatment.
Self pay is often a good fit for individuals seeking the following support:
Comprehensive ADHD or autism evaluations
Parent or executive function coaching
Therapy intensives or longer sessions
More frequent sessions/support
Self pay is also a good fit for those who simply prefer to keep their mental health care separate from their permanent insurance record. This may include individuals who undergo security clearance or background checks as required for their profession, and often include law, military, medical, and financial fields.
Self-pay means you're in the driver's seat of your therapy journey — No third-party involvement. No worries about medical record privacy. Just you and your therapist working together on the best therapeutic plan for your well-being.
Investing in YOU
Therapy is an investment in your well-being, your relationships, your dreams, YOUR FUTURE!

Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You Have the Right
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Get An Estimate
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
You Can Dispute
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Save a Copy
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises
or call 800-985-3059.
